Camp Important Information:


  • Ages 7- 17
  • Camp will be held daily from: 9:30 am until 3:30 pm.
  • Private lessons will follow the end of day.
  • Space is limited to 60 students.
  • Please arrive at 9:00 am on Monday, July 9 to allow extra time for the initial check in process.
  • Please bring your own sack lunches and waterbottles.  
  • Campers may be outside weather permitting.  Please pack accordingly.
  • Please leave all electronic games at home.
  • Cell phones must be left in backpacks.
  • The total cost of the camp is $225.
  • CBMF extends tution subsidies of $75 (per child) to 20 Gunnison Valley children. Total tuition for these 20 applicants will be $150.
  • Refund policy: camp tuition is non-refundable.
  • Checks should be returned with a finalized application by May 31, 2012.

Monday July 9: Registration 9:00am/Depature 3:30 pm

Tuesday July 10: Arrival 9:30 am/Departure 3:30 pm

Wednesday July 11: Arrival 9:30 am/Departure 3:30 pm

Thursday July 12: Arrival 9:30 am/Departure 3:30 pm

Friday July 13: Arrival 9:30 am/Departure 2:15 pm (Camp Concert 1:30 pm)

Location:

Bluegrass In Paradise Kids Camp is held in the Elevation Hotel in Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado.  Camp will be held both inside the hotel in the downstairs ballrooms or outside in tents weather permitting.

 

Parking and Arrival Information:

Parking is not available at the Elevation Hotel.  Please park in the Crested Butte Mountain Resort's parking lot located on the right at the corner of Gothic Road and Treasury Road. Walk Towards the bus drop off and Mountaineer Square.  From here you will see signs directing you to the Elevation Hotel and the Bluegrass in Paradise Kids Camp.

You may also right the free Mountain Express shuttle from Crested Butte to Mt. Crested Butte.  From here please look for sings directing you tot he Elevation Hotel and Kids Camp.

 

Drop off and Pick up Procedure:

Campers must be dropped off and signed in/out by a parent/guardian everyday at the camp registration table.  If you would like a camper to be able to leave unaccompanied from campus you must sign the closed campus release on the registration application.
